I was born in East Harlem, New York City, and I have been drawing ever since I opened my first Crayola box. At five years old, I was chosen to attend a community program in East Harlem where my first art teacher, Mr. Joseph, introduced me to charcoal, oils and pastels. This opened up a whole new world for me - and I had my first exhibition by the age of ten. I attended the High School of Art and Design in New York until, at fifteen, I moved to South America, where I continued my education in Fine Arts, illustration and cartooning. This led to my becoming an creative director at Play Publicidad, a ad agency in Argentina, where I worked on print and television for several years. Upon returning to the US, I studied Visual Communication at Katherine Gibbs and discovered my love of the digital arts. Though I still draw in pen and ink, I find it increasingly difficult to leave my computer, where I create digital art, illustration, fantasy pieces, landscapes and vintage, and work with photography, macro photography, photo retouching, photo restorations and photo manipulation.
